Do I have to go through SSD reconsideration in Florida?
No, you don’t have to go through reconsideration in the event you’re awarded at the initial level. There are three levels of the disability process: First being initial, second reconsideration, and then finally the hearing level. In the event you’re awarded at the initial level, you do not have to have further review upon reconsideration. Otherwise, you will have to go through the reconsideration level and then onto hearing, if not awarded at that time.
